OpenAudible is an open source program that lets you use Audible, Amazon's popular audiobook platform, easily on your Mac's desktop. With this app, you'll be able to easily listen to any audiobook.
The first thing you need to do to start using OpenAudible is to link your Audible account, otherwise some of its features won't work. If you don't already have a user account, you can easily create a new one. Once you have linked your account, you'll be able to download all your audiobooks so they're stored locally.
It's important to note that some of OpenAudible's features are not available with this free version of the program. For example, you won't be able to import other audiobooks that you already have on your hard drive to the client. Some older versions of the program, which are no longer officially supported, do have all the features enabled, but these may cause problems.
OpenAudible is a very interesting program for regular Audible users, as it allows for more control over all your audiobooks. From within the client itself, you can also see all the relevant information about any of the available audiobooks: author, length, release date, and so on.
